Wow. The Futurama theme song is really close to this in feeling and timbre. Lawsuit-close.

Actually, the composers of the "Futurama" theme song have openly said that it's something of a tribute to Henry's "Psyche Rock".
ReplyDeleteFunny you also mentioned Zappa. Immediately i started thinking "Louie-Louie" (which is not a Zappa song but frequently abused by the Mothers)
