Roger Waters MSG - On The Run - Time May 30, 2007
YouTube via bkaplan00. via Nusonica where you will find one more vid.
"What is unique about this is the side angle. Notice Harry Waters using the VCS3 synth [actually a Synthi AKS - essentially the same synth in a suitcase with sequencer] for On The Run. Then Roger Walks behind him followed by walking inbetween Harry & the screen (which for 95% of the people Roger is out of sight. Also note the camera swings to the plasma on the side of the stage that shows what is / will be projected on the screen. Then Time is complete with Breathe Reprise"

Its an AKS not a VCS3
ReplyDeleteyeah i noticed that too. a lot of people think they used a vcs3 on the original track, but it was an aks. they just called it a vcs3 for some odd reason in all the interviews. but then again they also had to have ems techs come in and teach them how to use the thing when they first got it lol. funny how they went from not even knowing the name or how to use it to making the most memorable song ever made on one.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that the AKS make the sequence. I guess it is coming from tape. It is too close to the original!
