I read a while ago about Kurzweil hooking up with a Korean conglomerate. My guess is thats whats been keeping the legacy products in the pipeline. Has anyone any new info? They were making some large promises to take on the Japanese manufactures.
ReplyDeleteWell, Young Chang bought Kurzweil ages ago (the early 90s, I believe?) but according to this press release, was acquired itself by Hyundai last year... and in 2007 rehired Ray Kurzweil as Chief Strategy Officer. Hopefully that means the company will get up off its laurels now; even the fullest of wreaths will be crushed flat after 17 years.
