I've listened to the Tangerine Tree version of the Detroit show and the Bootmoon version of the Montreal show countless times. Fantasticly mindblowing stuff!!
I have 'almost' complete lists of all TD's equipment on my blog for the 70's, 80's and 90's...if people want a list let me know
Btw the photo is from much earlier and appears in the UK/ European Tour Programme from 1976 (this is only the top half...the original is a photo montage with a cut and pasted section of the Modular repeated under Chris Franke)
notice the wrong spelling of PPG as "PBG".
ReplyDelete"Heavily modified" Moog 12? Based on the photo (and concert footage), it's a Moog 12,000.
ReplyDeleteOnly three Mellotrons?
ReplyDeleteOops, only four Mellotrons?
ReplyDeleteThanks qwave, I noticed that too and was wondering about it. I wasn't sure if PBG was referring something else.
ReplyDeleteCan't help but wonder about the mic plug... what actually did the have miked up?
ReplyDeleteAlso noticed how they spelled "Pro-Soloist" incorrectly.
ReplyDeleteI like the Roland Ace Echo
ReplyDeleteLove the shot!!

btw I'd guess that the shot comes from 1974, as Peter is wearing the same jumper that appears in most of the 1974 promo photos
ReplyDeleteYeah, the photo is probably from late 1974 or thereabouts. The gearlist on the other hand must be from the summer/fall 1976 tour though.
ReplyDeleteit's from 1975
