It's programmable and also has many cool presets. It can be synced or be the master sync with it DIN-sync connector, making it compatible with the Tr-606, Tr-808, Tb-303 and others. It can also be synced to MIDI with a DIN-sync to MIDI converter (as sold on eBay).
This unit has a serial number starting with 08, meaning it was produced in june 1981, all Cr-8000 models were produced in 1980-1981.It comes with a printed copy of the manual"
