"The Squid Shifter is an effects pedal that makes a sound that is a cross between heavy distortion and a synth.The Squid Shifter uses a digital pitch shift that is fed back into the mix using the shift control knob. The Level control knob sets of level of the output sound.
The mode button controls the frequency of the shift, there are 8 levels of shift and one level that mixes all shifted frequencies together. The Vibe button adds a hardcore vibrato that gives you a very very messy sound.
Power is provided to the device when the input plug is connected. The foot switch allows you to bypass the effect.
The input and output are standard mono 1/4in sockets.
The unit uses and standard 9v volt battery for power.
