SONY Drum Pad DRP-2 Rare handheld drum machine

"'Sony "Drum Pad' DPR-2 drum machine and electronic drums, 13 sounds, 2 user pattern (4/4 and 3/4), 8 preset patterns, fill-in mode, pads for real time play/record."
Instructions on use from the internet;
BEFORE turning on the DRP2, press A, B or C (turn on the unit pressing the pad at the same time).
Then press 1, 2 or 3 : you'll have preset rythms.
Finaly, use the "tempo" + or -
You can play with the pad at the same time.
Changing pattern : press 1, 2 or 3.
Changing banks : turn off then replay.
Record your own rythm : press "user beat" 4/4 or 3/4 before turning on the unit (turn on the unit pressing the pad at the same time) : you'll hear a "click" on rythm. Play with the pad, it will be recorded."

I'm so glad you posted this! Just found a DRP-3 in my mother's basement that my dad must have picked up years ago, and couldn't figure the damn thing out.

DeleteI still have one. I searched him in a suitcase forgotten in the heel. A few minutes ago, I put batteries and still works fine. It's a very interesting toy ... eheheh
