Is the hardware just the drive or is there an internal upgrade to the mpc as well, could this work on other kit with 3.5 drives, ie the rm1x
ReplyDeleteThe MC-2000XL is a hardware MCD Drive kit with ATAPI/IDE interface specifically designed for the Akai MPC 2000XL. No MPC modifications are required, plug-and-play out of the box. This unit dose not work with SCSI interfaces. Stay tuned for our SCSI MCD Readers coming 2012. Also check out our Custom MPC units available now.
