SergeDUSG1.AVI [Serge / CGS Universal Slope Generators]
YouTube Uploaded by dolphinicus on Jan 8, 2012
"This is a short vid. showing off my 2 x Serge / CGS Universal Slope Generators that I'd just completed yesterday. Thankfully, Serge Tcherepnin who had started Serge Modular Synthesizers in 1973, has licensed a few of his modules to the wonderful Ken Stone - owner of CGS Synths, so that he may produce PCBs of some of Serge Tcherepnin's wonderful modules.
The Serge USG is capable of operating as an Attack/Decay EG; Attack/Sustain/Release EG; LFO; VCLFO; VCO; VCF; Envelope Follower; Pitch Tracker; Slew Genereator (Portamento) as well as allowing the Rising and Falling wave shapes to change linearly or logarithmically.
In my 20+ years of working with and building modular synthesizers, I have never seen anyone else create a module as powerful, as this one.
I hope you enjoy the couple of fiddly bits that I've done with the 2 of them in this 9 minute video. As always, there'll be more coming! :D"
