"This is a custom built Drum synth based on the classic DS7 .built from quality components on a printed PCB. no timer chips inside.. this is all analogue circuity and sound wunderfully warm. built into a rugged metal enclosure..triggered either from the front pad pickup or from an external drum pad

The controls are as follows:
ON/OFF switch with ultra bright indication backlight
TUNE POT - controls the pitch of the oscillator
FREQUENCY POT - controls the speed/rate of the LFO
MODULATION POT - controls the depth of the LFO
DECAY POT - controls the length of the sound
SWEEP POT - controls the range of the oscillator sweep
VOLUME POT - controls the output gain
TRIGGER PAD - mounted on the front face plate
PAD SELECT SWITCH - switches between front mounted pad or an external drum pad

The output is via a 1/4 inch mono Jack at the rear of the unit
Can be ran either from the included 9V PP3 battery or via 9V DC socket (switchable).

this versitile little synth can create many interesting percussive and melodic effects simply by manipulating the controlls and hitting the pad.. many of the classic jah shaka and tubbys effects used in early dub reggae can be attained.. really sounds so nice when plugged into a delay and reverb.."
