Buchla Modular Sounds 21 - 210e Tip

"An example of the 210e used as preset manager for non-e modules.

In this case I have two patches: a slow one and a fast one. In the slow one the envelopes on the 281e are slow and in the fast one, they are more snappy. But I use the Pendulum Ratchet as main clock and want also speed of the Time Machine adjusted etc.

So I take a fixed voltage from the 254v and plug it in the 210e control section and take a CV output of the 210e an patch it to the clock CV input of the Pendulum Ratchet with attenuator fully open (clockwise). The first (Slow) preset now has the input to output connection fully closed; the second (Fast) has it partly open. Two other CV outputs have the opposite (partly open for slow preset, closed for fast preset.

Similar patching was done for the delay time CV input (long in slow preset, short in fast), amount of modulation of delay time (more in slow preset),slew speed on the slew module-module, offset of K4816, waveform of 258v etc."
