Note although it might say Analog Physical Modeling on the right panel of the synth, the AN1X does not have any physical modeling features in the same sense as the the Yamaha VL series or the Korg Z1 and Prophecy synths. The AN1X, rather, is a virtual analog synth with a few extra tricks up its sleeves including analog style frequency modulation.
