It's been thoroughly serviced and restored by a professional tech who has worked on numerous vintage synths. His work included replacement of all rear panel jacks, all electrolytic capacitors, various failing components, a few trim pots, and rebuilding of two sliders. He added a free-running LFO switch on the back panel and performed a recalibration of the synth. Immediately prior to the servicing, I replaced all key bushings and thoroughly cleaned and relubed the sliders. This service was performed around 4 years ago.
This synth sounds fantastic and all functions work exactly as they should. It's like stepping back in time. This synth doesn't feel like it's 40 years old. It seems more like a year or two old.
In spite of all the love and attention this synth has received, there are a couple of sliders that are scratchy on occasion. The scratchiness is only by feel. It doesn't affect the audio."
