Blake Angelos from Yamaha demonstrates the Montage OS version 2.0 update at Kraft Music.
Yamaha Montage builds on the legacy of the DX and Motif synthesizers with sophisticated dynamic control, massive sound creation, and streamlined workflow. The Montage Motion Control Synthesis Engine and Motion Sequences offer unique ways of interacting with rhythm-based sound. Montage also provides 1.75GB of user flash memory to augment its internal AWM2 and FM-X sound engines. Seamless Sound Switching lets you change performances without any cut-off in envelope or effects. An A/D input is available for processing external audio sources through Montage's effects.
Montage is available in three configurations: Montage 6, with 61-key FSX semi-weighted synth action; Montage 7, with 76-key FSX action; and Montage 8, with 88-key weighted Balanced Hammer action with aftertouch."
