What's inside the Synthstrom Deluge?

Published on Jul 16, 2018 Olivier Ozoux

"The Synthstrom Deluge is an all-in-one, battery-powered sequencer, synthesizer and sampler. And an all-around awesome little box. But what's inside?

- Renesas R7S721020VC ARM Cortex A9 32bit 400Mhz 3MB RAM
- Alliance AS4C32M16SM-7TCN 512MB 32bit SDRAM
- Microchip PIC24FJ256 16bit 32Mhz Micro-Controller
- 146 RGB LED, 28 single color LED, 4 7-segment LED
- 174 Membrane Switches

...and a bunch of other stuff that makes the Deluge blink, bleep and bloop the way it does.

To prove that no Deluge was harmed during the filming of this video, the entire soundtrack was composed, performed and recorded on my Deluge after it was successfully put back together."
