Roland SH-09 Bass Sequence
Björn Fogelberg
"This is what a fully working SH-09, an analog monophonic synth from 1980 sounds like, when the sliders have been cleaned re-lubed. It's deep and rumbling in a way that I never have heard before even though I have owned this synth since the late 90s. Oh, and yeah I have also modded it so that I can use the Ext slider to hear noise. It's a very simple mod to make.
I just made this little sequence on my Arturia Beatstep Pro and connected it to the SH-09. No effects, filters etc was added to the recording. The only thing I adjusted was turning up the volume in the parts where I used filter resonance, which automatically turns down the overall volume."
