ReplyDeletenowadays with the easy availability of cheap but good looking (usb-) midi controllers, affordable exotic looking synths and alike it's much cheaper to just buy some of these, screw them behind big metal sheets and relabel them with dymo instead of getting actual flight-control-room equipment or actual props being built exclusively for the shoot - since only synth nerds and flight controllers will notice something being not realistic in the end anyway.
