"The Stringman was Crumar first and most authentic string machine that was released in 1974 and used by ABBA and Neil Young. Sounds way better IMO than the Performer or Orchestrator. It has Cello and Violin sounds on the whole keyboard and a Contrabass sound on the lower part of the keyboard with dedicated volume fader.
It has a very nice 3 band EQ a vibrato with delay and of course a BBD triple chorus (based on the TCA350 juste like the Arp Eminent Solina String Ensemble).
Unit was fully serviced and in perfect working condition. Almost all the electrolytic capacitors were replaced (50 or so): power, sound generator, filters, chorus, audio amp etc.
It is in very nice condition with minor wear and comes with its original lid.
You can partially hear it in action in the following video:" [posted here]
