Do you know Röntgen?
video upload by Oscillator Sink
"This video is about the Tilde Instruments Röntgen, an electronic instrument designed for improvisation and exploration, and the vibe for me here, summed up in a single word is 'Elegance'.
The physical design I’d characterize as clean, bold and purposeful - a small number of hands on controls, perfectly symmetrical, and, yes, none of them are labelled so as not to mess with that aesthetic. That characterization carries into the synth architecture, which pulls off one of my all time favourite tricks of doing a small number of simple things very well, and then letting them interact in interesting ways.
Drawing influence from the likes of Rob Hordijk, the eponymous Serge Tcherepnin and Peter Blasser of Ciat Lombarde, Röntgen lies comfortably in the experimental or esoteric side of synthesizers, but what struck me as I was using it was how many different personalities it had from a music making perspective - hopefully I can showcase some of them in this video. Along with the patches I make on camera, I’ll also include a few other examples of finished patches so that you can get a broader picture of these various musical personalities.

Transparency notice: Tilde Instruments kindly sent Röntgen over to me for free so that I could make videos about it, and allowed me to keep the instrument. They haven't asked for nor have they been granted any editorial oversight into the video.
