MYCELIUM 1.0: Forest, Psytrance, Goa & Hitech Firmware for the M-VAVE FM-1
video upload by matrixsynth
Note: the video above and details below are in via megagott.
"MYCELIUM is a free, open-source alternative firmware for the M-VAVE FM-1 by Lars Knacken / Mandalars, built on Felucca and SLOOP. The project focuses on Forest, Psytrance, Goa and Hitech grooves, with original drum assets and icons and four factory songs.
Version 1.0 is available as a public GitHub test release, with the installable .fwsc package and corresponding source archive available without registration. The repository includes an original photograph of MYCELIUM running on a real FM-1, upstream credits, licensing and build information.
The supplied 24-second clip shows the actual project FM-1 with its recorded device audio, short intro/outro and no added music. It is a brief demonstration, not a complete validation of all functions. Installation and reboot are documented; a full physical listening and controls test remains outstanding. Back up your work and read the installation and recovery information before flashing.

Independent project, with no official M-VAVE affiliation. The separate MYCELIUM browser instrument uses a different sound engine and should not be presented as a hardware firmware sound demo."
