Crowphonics CRO-1 Available

via the Crowphonics mailing list.

"I've covered the few advanced orders of CRO-1s and now I've just made three that are sitting here and ready to ship now. Therefore, its a good time for anybody who prefers to buy under the understanding that its in stock and ready to ship. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll send a paypal request out.

Working on CRO-2 circuit now. Just messing around with circuit for preamps for external audio input and ringmod initially. I'll post some sounds up when I have a bit of the circuit I'm happy with.

Thanks to Robert and Surachai at the Chicago synth meet yesterday for including the CRO-1 amongst all the great stuff and for getting it on video too (a few sqeauls of CRO-1 at 1 min 08).

Big up the Chicago synth geeks massive!!! I can swap a CRO-1 for the Serge.

This week Crowphonics is expanding to include my wife 2.5 days a week as her job as the main breadwinner is going part time. I should get more boxes made now as I can't let her see how lazy I really am. Its a new challenge as I now have to make some money with this!!!"

Crowphonics modular box

"Each Crowphonics modular box will be a self contained functioning modular piece with the ability to interface with other Crowphonics boxes. More boxes to be developed in future."

You'll find more info including samples at Crowphonics.

via crowphonics on the forum.
"I am making these to order for £97.50. Its a kind of rough (in a good way), affordable, modular, extreme sound device. I will be making more boxes to interface with it and build a powerful system from. The box has been tested succesfully with some full on modular gear, with pleasing results, but that side is early days and I have no modular synths myself. The patches are made by crocodile clips to bolts (scary but safe as long as you don't send dangerously high voltages from external gear into it!!!). Pics and sound clips on the website."
