"The CZ-5000 is a digital synthesizer released by Casio Computer Co., Ltd. in 1985.
This year, 2025, marks its 40th anniversary. When we first got our hands on this instrument, we were still in middle school. Since then, we’ve created countless pieces of music using the CZ-5000. Sharing these works with the world has allowed us to connect with many people and receive their responses.
What this instrument has brought to us is truly significant. We intend to keep creating sounds and music with it for years to come. Thank you for 40 years, CZ-5000. Here’s to many more!

Casio CZ-5000 How to Load MT-DATA

"How to Load Satoshi & Makoto Sound MT-Data for CZ-5000
CZ-5000向けに公開しているSatoshi & Makoto Sound Data Vol.1〜３の、
MT用MP3データの取り込み方を動画で説明します。
データのロードには専用のCMTケーブルとCZ-5000本体が必要です。
MT-Dataを再生出来るプレーヤー（動画ではiPhone8）を準備下さい。
CZ-5000背面にあるMT端子にCMTケーブルを接続し、反対側のLoad用ミニフォン端子（動画では白色）にプレーヤーを接続します。
CZ-5000をノーマルモードにして、MTボタンを押下します。
LOADボタンを押下して、BANKABかBANK CD、もしくはSEQUENCERをNOボタン押下で選び、YESボタン押下でLOAD準備開始（RUN）となります。
プレーヤーからMTーDataのMP3を再生させ、LOADに成功すると「OK」と表示されます。
同様にBANK CD、SEQUENCERもロードが可能です。

CASIO COSMO SYNTHESIZER

Some interesting Casio rack synths in this one. Googlish description below.

"東京都世田谷区成城にある樫尾俊雄発明記念館において2015年12月7日から26日­までの期間限定で、カシオ電子楽器の名機の数々が特別展示されました。なんとその中に­、冨田勲氏が監修し後のCZシリーズの元となった「コスモシンセサイザー」が展示され­ており、樫尾俊雄発明記念館の御厚意で特別に撮影させて頂く事が出来ました。

今回展示されていたのは本体ユニットのみでしたが、この他にキーボードユニット、デジ­タイザーが有り16bitパソコンを接続しサンプリングした波形を音源化、加工する事­が出来ました。

ラック内には、発表されたものの発売には至らず、後に発売された16bitサンプラー­「FZ-1」の原型となった幻のサンプラー「ZZ-1」も収められていました。

残念ながら、電源は入らず音を聞いたり操作することは出来ませんでした。しかし今まで­まともに見た事が無く現存していないと思われたコスモシンセサイザーに直接触れる事が­出来ました。

大変貴重な機会を下さった樫尾俊雄発明記念館に改めて感謝いたします。

"For a limited time in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo Casio Toshio invention Memorial in Seijo from December 7, 2015 to 26 days, many of Casio electronic musical instrument name of the machine has been special exhibition. Although had been exhibited this time was only the main unit, the source of this addition to the keyboard unit, the waveform is sampled connect the digitizer is there 16bit personal computer, I was able to be processed.

Within the rack, but did not make it into the release of what was announced, it was released 16bit sampler sampler "ZZ-1" of vision that became the prototype of the "FZ-1" after was also housed.

Unfortunately, the power supply was not possible to manipulate or heard the sound does not enter. But I was able to touch directly on the Cosmo synthesizer you think Defunct without having seen decent until now.

Again we would like to thank Casio Toshio invention Memorial who gave a very valuable opportunity.
