First Contact - Ambient Trance | Novation Circuit Tracks first time jam

"After a couple of hours spent familiarizing myself with the new arrival and watching Novation's excellent introductory tutorials, here is my first jam with Circuit Tracks.

Before recording the video I only chose the patch for each track (the two internal synths and the 4 drum tracks) from the built in pack.

It was all very fun and surprisingly intuitive, even if I still have to get the hang of it....

I have separated the video into chapters (like a mini tutorial) so that you can more easily follow the process of creating this little jam...."

00:00 Synth 1: make a drone pad using the "gate"
00:16 Drum 1: set a steady 4/4 pattern sequence
00:25 Drum 3: record hi-hats live and then adjust the pattern sequence
00:50 Synth 2: record a live sequence
01:18 Drum 2: add some snare
01:32 Synth 1: set the sidechain so the drone will dip during the kick
02:26 Drum 4: record a percussive sound to add some groove

04:55 Outro: ok, the outro sucks, next time will be better ;)
