"Here we have the vastly powerful and highly flexibly ENTITY ULTRA PERC from SSF (Steady State Fate). This module continues and develops on the Entity Percussion Synthesiser and is part of the drum line up for SSF right alongside the ENTITY ULTRA KICK.

The ULTRA PERC features lots of modular building blocks inside its circuits including two resonant filter cores, a wave folder, filtered noise generator, trigger delays, envelopes, VCAs and more. It’s a whole mini modular system in a module that while focussed on percussion sounds can be used as a processor for external signals. You’ll see anything from west coast style synth voices through the broken tape machine style FX processing in the video … among the more obvious wide range of drum sounds.

It’s 100% analog (despite some digital FM like tones at times) and to be blunt it is utterly impressive, vast in its potential yet still easy to dial in great sounds.

"More testing of the up and coming Entity Ultra-Kick.

This demo mostly covers the range of tighter kick drum sounds where the Resonate control is mainly set before noon on the dial.

Random noodling and tried to cover some of the requests to show some of the various achievable click and initial impulse sounds, as well as some softer kicks.

Changes since last video:

Resonate control response widened up a bit.
Less early distortion - more clean headroom.
Increased bass response."

SSF Entity Percussion Synthesizer - FM Sounds

"Examples using the Entity PS as a frequency modulated lead sound and simple hi hat.

Patch Description:

The Entity PS is triggered via GateStorm and tracked 1V/OCT by The QuBit Octone (also clocked via GateStorm).

Frequency Modulation is set to FM only on the EPS. Modulation provided by Spectrum VCO.

The Ultra-Random Analog is clocked via GateStorm, S&H B is patched into the DECAY CV input on the EPS for minor variation in decay length.
