W.A. Mozart KV330 - 3. movement, (part1) Modular

Published on Dec 13, 2013 Stotz Daniel Philipp·22 videos

"This is another sound variation with the Mozart piano sonata KV 330 c-major. Performed by Daniel Philipp Stotz. Please refer to : http://www.danielphilippstotz.info/ About copyrights: All video, pictures, playing, recording, mixing by Daniel Philipp Stotz. (the composer Mozart died 1791!)."

On the modular via Daniel's modular page: "YUSYNTH monophonic analog synthesizer built by the genius Pavel VanĨura from Synthservice.cz in Prague. The building took more than 2 years. It has 3 VCO, 2 VCF (Moog and ARP 2600 filter), 3 ADSR, 2 VCA, 2 LFO, noise, S/H, and a mixer. It is similar to an ARP 2600, which I had in the 80th. Above you see from Synthesizers.com some extra modules: Slew limiter, Ring modulator and Fixed filter bank. I recorded the whole Well Tempered Clavier and the Art of the Fugue (5 CDs) of Bach mainly with this instrument. But also for strange noises this machine is great."

Bach Modular - The Well Tempered Synthesizer vol. 2 BWV 870 - 881 DEMO

Published on May 7, 2013 Stotz Daniel Philipp·21 videos

"The second volume of Bachs WTC is such great music, I recommend to study it more. Bach composed it much later than the first volume and so the compositions differ a lot. This video is a short demo of the new record, performed mainly on modular and other synthesizers. The whole recording took almost 2 years. This 3. CD (from C-Major - F-Minor) is available now on iTunes and Amazon. Please refer to http://www.danielphilippstotz.info/"

Bach Modular - The art of the Fugue - Contrapunctus 1 - preview

YouTube Published on Sep 4, 2012 by powerofthetruth (click and scroll for more)

"This is a short demo of the art of the fugue, played on YUSYNTH modular and other synths by Daniel Philipp Stotz. I am planning to record the whole art of the fugue. Here in this fugue every voice is recorded 4 times, with different sounds. The original recording is made in 96 KHz and maybe I will try to find a distribution, who is able to publish it on highest quality. More infos please refer to http://www.danielphilippstotz.info/"

Handel Modular fuga g-minor HWV 605

Listen to this one in stereo

"Another fuga of G.F. Handel played on YUSYNTH modular played by Daniel Philipp Stotz. Recently I recorded the whole well tempered clavier mainly on this synth.
Maybe this fuga is a much earlier work, if you compare it with to HWV 608 of 609. It is very interresting, how carefully Beethoven studied not only Bach but even more Handel fugas. Please take a look at the fugas of Beethoven, mainly in the 9. Sinfonie!
More info please see http://www.danielphilippstotz.info/"

Handel Modular fugue a-minor HWV 609

YouTube Published on Jul 29, 2012 by powerofthetruth

"Another nice fugue of Handel on YUSYNTH modular synth played by Daniel Philipp Stotz. More info see http://www.danielphilippstotz.info/ More fugues of Handel will maybe come out if I will find a good distribution. To record fugues in this way, takes a lot of time, but gives the great possibility to have different sounds for every voice of the fugue."

Bach on Modular Synth BWV 886 praeludium and fuga A flat major

YouTube Uploaded by powerofthetruth on Feb 20, 2012

"Played with a YUSYNTH modular synth, built by Pavel Vancura, Synthservice.cz in Prague.
The synthesizers gives you the great possibility of creating each voice really independent with a different sound. Specially for the fugas this is great. Played and recorded by Daniel Philipp Stotz, see www.DanielPhilippStotz.info. The complete 2. vol of Bach "the well tempered clavier" is recorded (BWV 870 - 893) on 2 CDs, but still I am looking for a distribution."
