  1. I can't believe how unfair I was all these years believing Björk is the most obnoxious synth girl

  2. yes, that vid DOES NOT make me want to hear music, even if she promises to stop v-blogging and FINISH IT!

    Ultra Self Indulgent!

  3. I don't get you people .. you come out in droves to defend the multitudes of professor synthesizer type characters we get around here, then along come someone who is good at what they do, gets paid for it and has the honesty to be a little silly about it as well, and then you poo poo.

    total irony.

  4. Pointless Matrixsynth post, IMO.

(Call me what you will, MetroSonus.)

Quite a waste of time as a post on her own, blog, too. Like, who wants to sit through 2 or 3 minutes of "yes I have, no I haven't, hahaha" silliness? It's not even funny! She must be very tired from working on that album.

  7. I dunno. I started it up, turned it off after 20 seconds when I realised it was going to annoy the hell out of me, and my affection for the music of Ms Heap remains completely undiminished.

I guess I must just not appreciate how desperately important it is that every single item either featured on MatrixSynth or created by artists whose work I generally enjoy should directly appeal to me. It's strange, that, because I'm sure that 20 years ago I grasped that concept to perfection; I wonder what's happened in the meantime...? *shrug*

  11. well check out the number of plays on her myspace page...those who can top her BOTTOM number of over 1.1 million plays can diss Ms. Heap all they want....me? I'm truly obnoxious and more than occsionally really stupid too, not just pretending but I think my top views is maybe 98? I can't even break a hundred....to make up for this major shortfall in my miserable synth life I listen to Imagen Heap frequently AND watch her videos ...I feel better afterward every time.

  12. I know silly people.
    They make me laugh.
    She's not silly.
    She's simply unbearable.
When I try to think about reasons why I hate youtube, unholy images of her yapping about with a keytar start popping out like corn made out of dirt and decayed matter, making me want to gouge my eyes out, or maybe the cat's eyes.
In any case, somebody's gotta pay for that, and I strongly believe it's gotta be Björk and Simon Cowell. She's got to be the hellish offspring of Björk and Simon Cowell.
Watching her antics feels like a thousand monkeys vomitting in my head while singing a Bon Jovi song.
