"This is a quick demo of the Simmons MTM MIDI-Trigger-MIDI Signal Processor to show that it powers-on, the display works, buttons respond, etc."

"For sale is an extremely rare Simmons MTM MIDI-Trigger-MIDI Signal Processor. Sync analog sequencers to MIDI! Control the SDS5!

The MTM was originally designed to control the SDS5 and SDS7 drum sound modules via MIDI or a sequencer. The unit has a number of great uses:

Control any sound source with a trigger-in from MIDI (Simmons SDS5, SDS7, other drum machines, even analog synthesizers)
Use the MIDI to trigger function to sync analog sequencers to MIDI & trigger various sequencer steps
Trigger MIDI devices from any audio source such as acoustic drums

Each signal can even be assigned to more than one MIDI note so whole cords could be triggered from a trigger source. All settings can be saved in one of up to 99 kits, just like the SDS7. The first 16 can be selected by the selector pad.

The unit is in great operational and physical shape (see photos) with some minor scratches commensurate with its age. It has been carefully stored for around 20 years in a climate controlled studio."
