Today I'll show you how to use the BTMX and the Nibblers to drive a "drum brain" in other words, a drum module consisting of multiple voices that you can trigger.
Todat I'll use my vintage SDS 8 from Simmons, a classic early 80s drum synthesizer that used to work with hexagonal drum pads. It will be a good occasion to learn how to convert gate to trigger with the Boundary!

"This one is in excellent cosmetic condition and working 100%. It has just been serviced with quite a bit of restoration from Ed Rose, The Simmons Guy. It is ready to be used and needs nothing! As the title says, this one has Tubbutec uniPulse midi. I doubt there is another for sale anywhere that is as nice cosmetically and that has had the same amount of restoration besides the other one I have listed. A quick demo is available on Facebook from The Simmons Guy. As you can see, this is the standard set with Bass, Snare, and three Tom modules. This listing is for the drum synth only and no pads or hardware are included. Not sold as-is!"

"Very good shape. All modules tested and working perfectly. Stock configuration with one bass, one snare and three tom cards. The last tom card is from an older SDSV. There are two expansion spaces for additional cards for a total of 7. This one lived in a rack and the rack ears are in place. It takes a 3u space. The bottom panel has three of the normal 6 rubber feet and is removable to fit better when racked. All the knobs and caps are in place. Power cable is included."
