"This piece was created using ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, ‪@NordKeyboards‬ Nord Lead, and ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field. Set against the sound of flowing water, it features the distorted tones of the Nord Lead’s Pelle mode and softly resonating harmonies, forming a tranquil ambient composition.

The Prophet-10 is connected to the ‪@strymon‬ blueSky, adding rich reverb to its sound.

The Nord Lead is played in Pelle mode, producing a warm, distorted tone. Its output passes through the ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY for reverb and filtering, and then through the ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ GENERATION LOSS MKII, which adds a subtle tape effect.

On the OP-1 field, environmental sounds containing water ambience are played continuously using the HOLD sequencer. The playback position is adjusted to vary the texture of the loop throughout the piece."

"A piece created with the ‪@NordKeyboards‬ Nord Lead and ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field — an ambient track built from distorted tones generated in the Nord Lead’s Pelle mode and lo-fi synth pads.

The Nord Lead, when set to Pelle mode, produces an unusually aggressive tone. Its output passes through the ‪@strymon‬ NightSky for reverb and filtering.

On the OP-1 field, a 16-bar synth loop was recorded and played back at a slower tape speed, layering additional sounds during performance. The output is processed through the ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ Lossy to achieve a lo-fi texture.

How to Enable Pelle Mode on the Nord Lead 1

1.Set Program A to 19 and Program B to 65.
2.Hold down SYSTEM, then press SHIFT.
3.While keeping both buttons held, press SET, then press PERF. MODE.
(Keep SYSTEM and SHIFT held the entire time.)

If you hear a clicking sound, Pelle Mode has been successfully activated.
If the program number displays 75, the attempt failed — this happens when CLEAR is pressed instead of SET."

"A piece created with ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, ‪@MoogSynthesizers‬ Moog One, ‪@NordKeyboards‬ Nord Lead, and ‪@YamahaSynthsOfficial‬ CP-88 — a work of minimal music built from overlapping sequenced phrases that gradually evolve in tone and texture.

All synthesizers are played via MIDI sequences from Ableton Live.

On the Prophet-10, the filter cutoff and resonance are manually adjusted, with the output processed through the ‪@strymon‬ blueSky for reverb.

The Moog One’s EG Amount and waveform Mix parameters are manipulated during playback.

The Nord Lead is processed through the ‪@gfisys‬ Specular Tempus for rich reverb.

At the end of the piece, a deep reverb is added across the entire mix using ‪@ValhallaDSP‬ Valhalla Shimmer in the DAW."

CyDrums provides the even kick, short-decay hi-hats, and toms. The sound is processed with filter and reverb using the ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY, and compression is added via the ALESIS 3630.

The Moog One performs the bassline, while the Nord Lead handles the harmony. The Nord Lead runs through the ‪@gfisys‬ Specular Tempus for reverb."

"Likely only around 500 units of the 61-key Nord Modular G2X were ever produced, exact production number unknown. Each factory-equipped with the polyphony expansion — making it far rarer and more capable than the standard G2.

"A piece created with TR-808, Nord Lead, Grandmother, and OP-1 field. Electronica combining TR-808 rhythms with glitched vocals and layered synths.

The TR-808 is MIDI-controlled, with delay applied to the snare using the DD-6. The modified long-decay circuit of the TR-808 is manually adjusted during performance to accent the kick.

The Grandmother is also MIDI-controlled, with the filter cutoff operated manually.

On the OP-1 field, sampled vocals are performed and glitched in real time using the MOOD MKII.

The Nord Lead plays the lead synth, while additional harmony parts are recorded separately and processed with sidechain compression in Ableton Live."

On the Moog One, harmonies are performed with synth pad sounds.

On the Nord Lead, phrases are played with delay added through Specular Tempus.

The beat is programmed in Ableton and processed through the ‪@KORG_INC‬ NTS-3 looper to create glitch effects.

Other parts are mainly constructed in Ableton using Omnisphere, Massive, and similar software synths."

Attack Release Bloc Glasgow -CALC- Live set rehearsal

"I played at Attack Release in Glasgow in July 2025.
Sadly the audio from the gig recording was crocked so it didnt make it, but I did film a rehearsal a few days before. The gig itself was better than this take (of course it was ;o) and I had tweaked the set quite a bit from this for the show, but it gives the general idea of what I played.

Attack Release is an amazing night and I thoroughly recommend it if you are ever in Glasgow on the last Wednesday of the month. It has to be one of the best gigs I have played with the best crowd ever. Sad the recording of the night didnt work out though."
