Electronica w/ Game Boy(LSDj) & TENORI-ON | Precious Day Off 2026-07-18 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A summer holiday electronica piece layering phrases from Game Boy, TENORI-ON, and OP-1 field.

GEARS
‪@yamahaglobal‬ TENORI-ON
‪@KORG_INC‬ NTS-3
‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY
‪@Tech21nyc‬ SANSAMP BASS DRIVER DI
‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ GENERATION LOSS MKII & LOSSY
‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field

On the Game Boy, melodies are sequenced using LSDj and transformed with the NTS-3 looper. Two signal paths are recorded. One is processed through the SANSAMP, while the other is further processed through the NIGHTSKY with filtering and reverb.

On the TENORI-ON, a simple sequence is played while tape effects are added through the GENERATION LOSS MKII. The signal is then processed through LOSSY to create an even more lo-fi texture.

On the OP-1 field, phrases from the ENDLESS sequencer are occasionally added over a pre-recorded 16-bar harmony loop."

They changed their mind (CHOMPI)

video upload by chase bliss

"We're no longer pursuing what we've been calling "CHOMPI 1.5" at this time.

You may remember we made an announcement last year that we would be starting to manufacture CHOMPI ourselves going forward. The plan was to make a backwards-compatible CHOMPI that would have slightly different hardware from the original but the same processor, so that no matter what CHOMPI you bought you would have access to the same firmware.

Well, that turned out to be a pretty bad idea.

The main reason is that we started to bump into the limits of what that processor was capable of while making the new TEMPO firmware. The manufacturing process was also turning into a bit of a puzzle, and so we found ourselves in the position of essentially recreating an existing product that was already maxed out. It would have been time-consuming, expensive, and limiting for future ideas. It just didn’t make sense.

So that leaves us in the awkward spot we’re in now. Sorry.

Chelsea and Tobias are still working here and we’ll be continuing to support CHOMPI – we’re leaving the door open for what’s next – but at this specific moment we are not working on or planning any new CHOMPI products."

Ambient Music w/ Endless Cassette Tape, norns shield, and OP-1 field | Dry Grass 2026-07-12 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"An ambient piece created with endless cassette tape, norns shield, and OP-1 field.

Gear used:
YAMAHA CMX100II
norns shield
‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field
‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOST + FOUND & MOOD MK II
‪@strymon‬ blueSky

On the CMX100II, synth sequence phrases are pre-recorded onto two tracks, a sustained synth tone is recorded onto one track, and delayed percussion sounds are recorded onto another track.

The sequence phrases are sent from the MONITOR Out through the MOOD MK II. The remaining two tracks are routed from the AUX through the blueSky for reverb, then output from the Master Out.

On the norns shield, a recorded piano performance is played back with granular processing using graintopia, then processed through LOST+FOUND with delay and reverb.

On the OP-1 field, sampled bamboo flute sounds are performed. The built-in delay and reverb effects are applied."

Dub Techno with FM Synthesis on a Game Boy Advance | Peak 2026-07-04 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A live dub techno jam built around a Game Boy Advance running FMS — a groovebox by Lo-Bit Club that runs real-time 2-OP FM synthesis natively on the GBA. The sequence and FM sounds you hear from the GBA are all generated on the handheld itself. The ‪@rolandglobal‬ TR-08 and ‪@MoogSynthesizers‬ Subharmonicon are synced via the MSY2. The TR-08 runs through a ‪@strymon‬ blueSky reverb, while the Subharmonicon is tweaked in real time through the Strymon TIMELINE delay. The OP-1 field loops reverb-soaked chords, and the ‪@ChaseBliss‬ MOOD MKII layers evolving micro-loops on top.

Gear used:
・Game Boy Advance + FMS ( https://lobit-club.itch.io/fms )
・Moog Subharmonicon
・Roland TR-08 → Strymon blueSky
・Strymon TIMELINE
・Teenage Engineering OP-1 field
・Chase Bliss MOOD MKII
・Kenton MSY2 (sync)

Chase Bliss BIG TIME Delay Showcase | Sound Demo (feat. Modal Element One) ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬

video upload by Davide Puxeddu

"A pure audio demonstration of the Chase Bliss Big Time hybrid analog/digital echo, utilizing the newly released Modal Electronics Element One virtual analog synthesizer as the main sound source.
No talking, just hardware.

Designed in collaboration with John Snyder of Electronic Audio Experiments (EAE), the Chase Bliss Big Time is a true-stereo hybrid echo that revisits the mixed-up, unique circuitry found in rackmount delays from the early 1980s. In that era, advanced analog engineering was functionally used to prop up crude digital systems. The Big Time intentionally embraces and pushes this hybrid architecture to its absolute extremes.

This video showcases how the Big Time's interactive controls and dual stages of analog coloration transform incoming synthesizer signals:

• Stereo Analog Preamp (Color): Adds beautiful, warm saturation to the input stage, designed to handle a wide variety of instruments.
• Feedback Loop Limiter (State): An analog clipping limiter in the delay path that creates everything from smooth compression to crumbling, misbiased overdrive that slowly disintegrates your echoes.
• Cluster Slider: Blends in additional delay taps and diffusion, smudging and expanding the sound into rich ambient delights and multi-tap clusters inspired by vintage space station units.
• Scale & Motion: Controls creative transposition, Thermae-like musical sequencing, and stereo modulation (Sine, Square, Envelope).

Watch how the Big Time's motorized faders react and seamlessly transition through different delay modes—from tight modulations (3-46ms) to Short (46-736ms) and Long delays, across HiFi, Focus, Warm, and Analog voicings.

Providing the core audio tracking is the Modal Element One. Its 8-voice virtual analog engine, morphable filters, and rich stereo waveforms offer the perfect high-quality sonic canvas to test the Big Time's true-stereo capabilities, input saturation, and analog dry-thru.

🎧 Headphones or studio monitors are highly recommended to capture the full true-stereo imaging and analog character of the pedal.

Special thanks to Chase Bliss!"

This is how Joel uses CHOMPI

"It's pretty well-documented that Joel loves CHOMPI, but we never really took a moment to show you why. So here's that moment. Honestly, we thought there would be more talking involved in this video, but instead Joel just made a bunch of insane beats. Sometimes actions speak louder than words."

CREATURE - Prophet 10 (Brutal Dark Ambient synth music)

video upload by Kevin Rix

"One take performance on a Prophet 10. Pedals used include Chase Bliss Onward, Soma Cosmos, and Noise Engineering Batverb. Also used a Dark Star sequencer for the middle sections.

This world we live in is becoming increasingly more complicated and is about to see a huge shift with the arrival of AI. I want this channel to showcase raw performances and celebrate the human aspect of art and music.

This is an anti-AI channel. Everything is composed and performed by me with no editing. Just raw performances created in the moment."
