11/23/23 Roland (& RYK & Lana) System 100m + Peavey DDL-3 (x2) + Chase Bliss CXM 1978
video upload by Cfpp0
"This is a study for something.
S&H out to the passive control voltage routing panel as a mute. Forgot to utilize the panning on the 131 mixer to bleed signals to the two DDL-3 delays."

11/15/23 Roland Jupiter 6 + Peavey DDL-3 + Chase Bliss CXM 1978 (arpeggio ranges)
video upload by Cfpp0
"Ding ding dong, dong dong ding, dingy dingy ding. Four ranges of an arpeggio, with delay from the Peavey DDL-3 and a wash of pre-delay reverb from the CXM 1978. The CXM returns to two faders on the Mackie Onyx 1604, and they are ridden. Also the settings on the CXM 1978 are gradually changed a few times."

Elektron Octatrack, Teenage Engineering OP-1 Field, Chase Bliss Reverse Mode C
video upload by Luca Longobardi
"Lay down your mind and peace will come. A peace deeper than anything you have known.
(Haruki Murakami, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World)
About Octatrack setting:
Track 3: Piano sample recorded on the Octatrack
Track 2: glitch drums
Track 6: OP-1 tape live through a THRU machine
Track 1: Same piano sample distributed on a slicing grid to be used as a melody through manual use of the fader (scene change).
Fast movements of the fader create further glitches in the feedback of the Reverse Mode C which reacts like a sort of arpeggiator."

CHASE BLISS HABIT // Exploration Jam 1 // MicroFreak + DOD RUBBERNECK Analog Delay
video upload by LESINDES
"Playing CHASE BLISS HABIT for the first time after having read the initial chapter of the manual. Manual DIP switch ON. All other DIP switches OFF and in the beginning only playing with the two delays and repeat rate.
In order to give the sound a bit more with and liveliness I processed the HABIT signal thru the RUBBERNCK which is faded in in the beginning resulting in a very nice stereo image.
The DOD RUBBERNECK is panned to the LEFT and HABIT's mono only signal to RIGHT."

Chase Bliss Audio Reverse Mode C and Teenage Engineering Op-1 Field and TX-6
video upload by Luca Longobardi
"Time moves in it special way in the middle of the night.
(Haruki Murakami , After Dark)
If you were wondering what the new Reverse Mode C from Chase Bliss audio sounded like, here's a little example.
The simple sequence played by the OP-1 is first only effected by the TX-6's reverb. Then the Reverse Mode intervenes, reproducing one of the three voices of its delay (reverse in octave). Then the second voice (normal reverse) and then all three voices with modulation in synch and the volumes managed by the same pedal which 'sequences' the entries. Press and Hold on the right button to immediately have the delay action at half the tempo.
Enjoy this little night spell!"

video upload by Kuro Kasetto
"A litlle ambient jam using the Lyra-8 as the main sound source.
Wingie 2 processes the signal from the Lyra-8 while the Sq1 sequences certain notes in the Wingie 2, the Mood adorns the sound."

CHASE BLISS HABIT // UNBOXING // MicroFreak + DOD RUBBERNECK Analog Delay // Session 2
video upload by LESINDES
"PROCESS:
Playing CHASE BLISS HABIT for the first time after having read the initial chapter of the manual. All DIP switches OFF and in the beginning only playing with the two delays and repeat rate.
In order to give the sound a bit more with and liveliness I processed the HABIT signal thru the RUBBERNECK which is faded in in the beginning resulting in a very nice stereo image.
The DOD RUBBERNECK is panned to the LEFT and HABIT's mono only signal to RIGHT.
The little black box on the right side is also very helpful: ART SplitMix4. A passive mixer/ splitter. Enables me to slpit the HABIT signal in two line signals.
The HABIT signal goes to the right stereo input and the other HABIT signal is processed by DOD RUBBERNECK and is fed into the left channel. As ART SplitMix4 is completely passive no hum and no PSU is needed as well."

teletype/just friends grid instrument played through chase bliss mood mk2
video upload by Matt Lowery
"I made my first teletype/just friends grid instrument, then played it through chase bliss mood mk2
I'm giddy with excitement today, because after studying the teletype grid ops for a couple of days, I was able to whip up my first playable instrument this morning before I'd finished my first cup of coffee. The ops are so powerful and accessible! I've never played a melody on an instrument that I coded before, so I wanted to share this video as a kind of mile marker. It's nothing fancy- just a row of faders that send note data to Just Friends over i2c and a giant button that sends triggers. The cool thing to me is that I had this very simple idea and was able to bring it forth into existence in about 15 minutes. That's a new and special feeling."

Ambient synth jam with Dreadbox Nymphes, Erebus, Kinotone Ribbons, Chase Bliss Mood MkII
video upload by Jay Hosking
"A live, semi-improvised synthesizer jam performed entirely on hardware.
I recently bought the Kinotone Ribbons, and a member of my Patreon community wisely suggested that I run the Dreadbox Nymphes through it. He was very right (thanks, Robbie!): the Nymphes already has tons of analog synth character, but the Ribbons' stereo reverb plus its tape effects really made the perfect ambient sound.
I played around on the Keystep until I found some chords I liked, sequenced the chord progression on the Keystep, and then went searching for a second synth to complement the Nymphes & Ribbons.
I settled on the Erebus because it's small, sounds fantastic, and has lots of hands-on control. To add some character of its own, I used the Mood MkII to add some sample-reduced tape, plus some of its own reverb. It ended up lo-fi in its own way, and quite different from the Nymphes & Ribbons combo.
At first I thought I might play the Erebus separately, but the slow pace, plus wanting to keep it meditative, made me try something different instead. Here, I sent the same sequencing data to both synths. However, since the Erebus was in mono mode, it had to choose a single note from the polyphony of the chords, leading to a sort of melody line of its own. It was a happy accident, and a peaceful finished song.
Dreadbox Nymphes into Kinotone Ribbons - chords
Dreadbox Erebus into Chase Bliss Mood MkII - lead
Arturia Keystep 37 - sequencing
Thanks for listening.

The Soothing Ambience Of The French Riviera (in a Box)
video upload by HAINBACH
"French artist Gilou loaned me his Boxed Sandpit to play with. It is lovingly crafted hybrid of electro-acoustic sound and digital control. Using beach sand, a rake, a shovel and smooth stones as MIDI controllers, it is possible to create some very chill sounds. Check out his work: https://instagram.com/gilou._"
