"With recently obtaining the Squarp Instruments Hapax to act as my main standalone sequencer, I've been diving deep into all the functions it offers. This is the first track I've made putting together a number of items such as automation, assign controls, creative MIDI effects (register, arpoly, etc.), BPM elasticity, and adjustable start/stop loop lengths. I've added notes in the video explaining some key points for the track and additional equipment used, but below is a more detailed list of the sound sources:

Cosmetically- Nothing is ever mint in my opinion and this one is no exception. There are some imperfections here and there, but overall I think it looks excellent. All knobs have been replaced, it has new wood sides (walnut), and a new "Sequential Circuits" sticker.

Internally- Apart from any repairs, it's been completely disassembled and cleaned, all potentiometers and switches have been cleaned, it has two new octave switches, all electrolytic & tantalum capacitors replaced (including the power supply), the keyboard rebuilt with new bushings, the j-wires & buss-bar have been hand polished, and it has been fully calibrated. *This may be updated!"

As well as being a faithful recreation of the OG Prophet with switchable filter modes and original envelope curves, it has two layers of up to 10 voices each, giving 20 voices total, plus A/B splits and Alt modes. The XMOD and XLFO system lets you modulate most parameters with an XLFO or XADSR, with extras like noise injection, sample and hold and looping.

"The trusty Prophet 08. I've had this synth a long time. It's not super inspiring right out of the box but as you learn it more deeply, it's a lot of fun, really inspiring and sounds awesome. Especially once you learn the sequencer and how much you can do with it creatively. The LFO's and assignable envelope are also very cool. It has a lot of ways to modify your sound. Fun Stuff.

"Sequential Prophet 10 improvisation / soundscape.

I bought an anamorphic lens (Sirui 50mm T2.9) to test out with my camera, because now I have something that will actually hook up to one of these (to my mirrorless camera). Needed to do a test run. It was honestly very difficult to figure out how to get the footage imported and 'desqueezed' using Kdenlive, but eventually I got there!

"Here is episode 5 of my series 80's in 80 seconds where I create an 80's synth themed track bed layering each part progressively in 80 seconds and then do a little improv jam along with it. I was able to integrate a few new pieces of gear on this one some of which I have been restoring and bringing back to life over the last few months including the Linndrum, Roland TR-727, Lexicon Model 200 reverb, and the Klark-Teknik DN780 reverb that is in the same vane as the AMS RMX16. I finish the jam with the Roland MKS-10 which was the first rackmount MIDI sound module released by Roland in 1984 that eventually led to the more infamous MKS-30, MKS-70 and, MKS-80. It is a 16 voice velocity sensitive EP/Clav/harpsichord type module with chorus, flanger, tremolo and a brilliance slider to control the tone of the 16 iconic Roland IR3109 filters it has on board. Sounded so good after I got it that I bought a second. Hopefully I can do a more in depth video on this in the future. For now enjoy episode 5!"

"Fully restored Pro One ready for action, this unit was given a full restoration, including the following work performed:

All electrolytic capacitors replaced

All tantalum capacitors replaced

All trimmers replaced

All power regulators replaced

All key bushings replaced and J wire assembly fully cleaned, lubricated with contact cleaner, and flushed with 99 iso alcohol

All jacks cleaned with contact cleaner and flushed with 99 iso alcohol

All potentiometers fully disassembled, cleaned, lubricated with contact cleaner, and fresh grease applied to the pot body to give all pots a nice damped feel

Mod/Pitch wheel disassembled, cleaned, and calibrated

MTG Turbo CPU and midi installed, allowing the synth to be triggered via MIDI along with a host of other features including new arpeggiator modes, longer sequence lengths and more

After all the above work was complete the unit was fully calibrated per the service manual. All components other than those listed above are original and untouched, including the original vintage curtis chips. Cosmetically in very nice shape for its age, with only a few light scuffs on the wood ends. Includes original owners manual."
