"I programmed some of the factory patches for the ASM Leviasynth. Tonight I'm giving away how I actually do it.

We're opening with a full cover of "Inner Universe" from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex — every sound built on the Leviasynth, nothing else in the chain — and then we're building an original 2000s cyberpunk track from a completely empty patch, live, start to finish.

Here's the part most Leviasynth tutorials skip: you do NOT need to master 8-operator FM synthesis to get incredible sounds out of this thing. My easy-FM method uses one, two, maybe three operators to generate a raw waveform with some teeth on it — and then lets the Leviasynth's analog filter do all the real sculpting. Cheap FM, expensive filter. It's how I built most of my favorite factory patches, and by the end of tonight you'll be using it too.

Solton Programmer 24 + Hydrasynth deluxe in Italo disco 80 live experiment

"In this live video, I used the vintage Programmer 24 synthesizer produced by Solton in 1985. It was the first fully programmable arranger in history. I added an expansion kit of 32 vintage drums (32 Vintage Drums for Solton Programmer 24) to the Programmer 24 and used a different drum set than the default one.
I added some parts played with the Hydrasynth Deluxe synthesizer. There are no audio effects. The instruments are summed in the mixer and recorded along with the video with the Canon XA60 camera."
