"An electronica piece created with Game Boy.

Created with Game Boy, OP-1 field, OP-1, and MOTIF-RACK ES.

On the Game Boy, sequences run in LSDj while delay is added with MOOD MKII. Micro loop textures are layered, and reverb is applied using blueSky.

On the OP-1 field, a recorded 16 bar harmony is looped while the sampler is performed by hand.

On the OP-1, a beat runs in a loop using the ENDLESS sequencer while the built in CWO effect is adjusted. The output is processed through LOSSY with reverb and filtering to create variation.

Ambient Electronica with Game Boy Advance and OP-1 field | Praise 2026-02-21 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"Ambient electronica featuring gentle synth tones, electric piano, and Game Boy sounds.

Created with Game Boy Advance, ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field, ‪@YamahaSynthsOfficial‬ CS01, and norns shield.

On the Game Boy Advance, sequences are programmed using Stepper. The sound runs through monotron DELAY, where delay is applied and the filter is manipulated in real time.

On the OP-1 field, a 32 bar synth harmony loop is played and processed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ GENERATION LOSS MKII and LOST+FOUND.

On the CS-01, I use a slow attack patch with the waveform set to PWM, performing while adjusting PWM speed and modulation.

On the norns shield, electric piano phrases are recorded into graintopia, processed granularly, and played back.

All devices share the same tempo, but no sync cables are used."

Jamuary 29 2026 - Folding Entertainment System

video upload by Captain Credible

"What have you done! Wavefolding the dulcet tones of the Nintendo Entertainment system is blasphemy! But it does sound pretty sick, right. Shredded nostalgia injected srtaight into my earholes. As a side note, can somebody explain to me why the NES pulse wave is so recognonizable? it just sounds grittier and angrier than other pulse waves. Am I right? or have i lost it? #NES #midines #rolandP6 #polyendtracker #nts1mk2"

video upload by atnr

"This piece was created using a Game Boy, a tape loop, and the YAMAHA CBX-K1XG.
It is an electronica composition where lo-fi synth tones and piano layers blend with a delayed, lo-fi rhythm.

On the Game Boy, rhythms are programmed in LSDj, with delay added using the ‪@strymon‬ TIMELINE.

A one-minute piano performance is recorded onto a tape loop. The loop is played back and processed with ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOSSY, adding reverb and EQ to create a warm lo-fi texture.

The CBX-K1XG is performed live on the keyboard, with additional delay and reverb applied using ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOST+FOUND."

GAME BOY & Music Easel Ambient Electronica session : Whitecaps 2025-10-14 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A piece created with Nintendo Game Boy, ‪@buchlausa‬ Music Easel, and ‪@KORG_INC‬ microKORG S — an ambient electronica track where looping sequences intertwine with random phrases and hand-played harmonies.

The Game Boy runs LSDj, repeating a simple sequence while adding delay using the TIMELINE.

The Music Easel plays arpeggiated phrases, processed through the MOOD MKII with pitch-shift and SLIP effects.

The microKORG S performs synth pads using a long-release tone.

Minimal Ambient w/ GAME BOY & reface DX | Small drops 2025-08-02 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A track for YAMAHA reface DX and Game Boy (LSDj)—lo-fi pads under shimmering chiptune sequences.

The reface DX plays a synth pad routed through ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY (shimmer reverb + filter) and ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ GENERATION LOSS MK II (tape coloration). The harmony is triggered from Ableton.

The Game Boy sequence is programmed in LSDj; its output runs into ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ MOOD MK II for reverb, where micro-loops create intricate phrases. In the outro the signal is fed through Valhalla Frequency Echo for swirling feedback."

VGM #220: A Cyber's World? // DELTARUNE (Synth Pop Cover)

video upload by Amie Waters

"I had such a magical experience finally playing through DELTARUNE Chapters 1-4 recently and I was genuinely inspired to get back at it, so look forward to more DELTARUNE covers soon! The reveal of Cyber Fields and the rhythmic elements in Chapter 2 were so much fun, and this track was just such a bop I knew it had to be my first cover upon coming back to the wacky world of Tricky Tony Fox."

video upload by atnr

"A minimal-ambient piece for Game Boy and ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field, where the Game Boy’s rustic chip tones weave through soft synth layers.

Game Boy: Sequence built in LSDj. The output runs into a ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ MOOD MK II, adding reverb, pitch-shifts, and occasional micro-loops.

OP-1 field: A prerecorded rhythm pattern loops while new synth parts are played live. The signal passes through a ‪@strymon‬ Strymon TIMELINE for delay.

Xylophone & harp phrases: Provided by a YAMAHA MOTIF-RACK ES."

Ambient w/ Roland RS-09 & GAME BOY | Rose Water 2025-06-25 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A piece built with an RS-09 and a Game Boy—ambient layers of drones and lo-fi sequencing.

RS-09: Runs through NIGHTSKY for reverb and filtering; the dry signal is muted so only the wet reverb is heard, and the unit’s inherent noise is left in the mix.

Game Boy: An LSDj sequence loops while LOSSY degrades the sound and a DD-6 adds delay, with feedback tweaked in real time."
