"Ocean Swift announces the release of Tyrian Tine - a FREE compact, yet potent Kontakt NKS instrument for generating unique, randomized bell and chime tones. Its asymmetric dual-layer engine pairs a wavetable oscillator - with purposeful instability, morphing, and controlled randomization - with a sample oscillator curated from bells, kalimbas, music boxes, and other metallic oddities. The result ranges from crystalline fantasy tintinnabulation to gritty, bronze-like strikes and haloed sci-fi swells.

"I started doing these musical Christmas Cards because I was inspired to create something different from the old classic Christmas tunes. I prefer to hear/visualize a wintry scene and to try to encapsulate the wonder of what Christmas felt like when I was a kid and I think the instrumental form keeps it a bit more open to interpretation. I found it to be a really satisfying way to focus on that feeling and write and it felt good to offer an alternative. Here's Christmas Card 6, in the spirit of that."

"This piece combines field recordings captured in a windy park with sounds from the ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, processed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ MOOD MKII, LOST+FOUND, and ‪@strymon‬ blueSky.

The Prophet-10 is connected to all three effects units.
During the performance, synth pads are played while the filter is opened and closed to create movement. The MOOD MKII adds delay, and its CLOCK control is adjusted to introduce pitch shifting.
The LOST+FOUND provides additional lo-fi character using the GEN-LITE effect, and further pitch shifting is applied with ORCHESTRAL SWELL.
Finally, the blueSky is used to add reverb.

Additional layers from the MOTIF-RACK ES and Massive X are arranged within the DAW to complete the atmosphere."
