Seinfeld Bass Battle

video upload by General Midi Guy ⚡

George is the only one that looks like himself, ableit with a mustache. Wouldn't mind hearing a New Order/Joy Division Bass Battle.

"Is the Seinfeld theme played by a Korg M1 or by the 360 Systems Midi Bass, lets find out :p both have been credited Seinfeld Bass on various Internet forums.

This test is not 100% as i dont have the same mixer, fx etc 🛸

"Remember Seinfeld? Remember that poppin’ slap bass sound all over the show – in the titles, in the end credits, in every sting and transition? Well, this is the little box of tricks that made that sound. The 360 Systems MIDI Bass was an early sampled bass unit, later upgraded to a Pro version that rackmounted. It was a limited but (for its time) powerful-sounding machine that had swappable EPROMS to access additional sounds. We managed to score an original tabletop MIDI Bass plus a set of EPROMS covering a range of both classic and unusual sounds with a distinctly 80s vibe. There is, of course, ‘that’ Seinfeld Slap bass; but if you don’t fancy reliving the glory days of American comedy, there are seven other sounds to choose from – a great Fender Jazz bass, through a punchy 80s synth bass to a rather cool Stick bass (think Tony Levin playing Peter Gabriel’s live gigs and you’ve got it)… and more.

MIDI Bass hardware Kontakt instrumentThe MIDI Bass is a simple little device – MIDI notes go in, bass sounds come out – so we’ve kept things simple for our recreation, which just adds some useful compression and tube saturation controls and leaves the rest up to you and your funk."

Kloob - Terminal Hub

"An exploration of industrial decay and fading power grids. 'Terminal Hum' blends expansive, low-frequency drones with cold, static textures, soundtracking the bleak symmetry of cooling towers and overcast skies. Recorded as a live hardware performance.

Gear used:
• Audiothingies MicroMonsta 2
• Maschine Plus
• Cre8audio East Beast (my latest acquisition)
• Eventide Space

Hotone Freqlux + Synthesizer Demo

video upload by HotoneAudio

"What happens when Freqlux leaves the guitar rig?

This demo takes Freqlux into a synth-based setup, using its tri-pitch engine to create movement, harmony, and new layers of sound beyond the usual pedalboard world.
NeonGlow was never made for one instrument.
It was made for ideas."

Pitch shifting, reimagined.

Freqlux is not just another pitch pedal. It is a creative engine built for players who hear more than one idea at a time. With three fully independent pitch voices and deep real-time control, Freqlux turns complex harmony concepts into playable reality.

Three Voices. Unlimited Directions.

At the core of Freqlux are three completely independent pitch engines. Each voice can run a different mode, interval, and behavior. Unlike traditional mono or standard poly pitch pedals, Freqlux lets you stack, blend, and sculpt three pitch ideas at once.

Each voice can be assigned to one of the following modes:

Poly Mode

Flawless polyphonic pitch shifting that preserves chord structure and articulation. Big chords stay intact. Fast passages stay clean.

Key Mode

Set a key and scale, and Freqlux generates musically intelligent harmonies that move with you. Classic harmony tones with modern precision.

Sequential Prophet 10 musings

video upload by MIDERA

"What a day. To spend it with my kids and wife, it just felt like a perfect day. No day can be bad when your children hand you letters that say 'I love you' on them, with pictures.

What I wrote here... well, it's just junk. Hoped what I wrote would have been better, but that's all I had in me today.

Lox | Twin Monomachine IDM | First pass with the new ems-monomachine-firmware

video upload by MIDERA

"Alright - so I guess someone really cool (Em-) decided to give the Elektron Monomachine new life - I installed this on both my Monomachines and gave it a test. I know there are some bugs, but after reading through them it didn't seem like it would affect what I was doing. I'm extremely excited by the updates, as they address the thing I missed a lot on the Monomachine - independent track lengths. Here you can hear just a single pattern with longer total patterns. Honestly, it's kind of game changing. So thank you Em-. This is great!

Here's where you can go to get this release: https://github.com/emuyia/ems-monomac...

Kloob - Fading Edges

video upload by - Kloob -

"A deep immersion into subterranean textures and slow-fading soundscapes. Fading Edges features a rhythmic, low-frequency tribal thrum that pulses like a distant heartbeat through empty stone corridors, merging into wall-shaking sub-bass swells and cold industrial grit. It captures a state of suspension—where the physical borders of reality slowly disintegrate into a surreal, shifting fog.

Gear used in this session:
• Maschine Plus (Standalone): The brain of the setup.
• Micromonsta 2: Pad played in real-time.
• Reverb FX: A combination of the ethereal Raum (internal) and the massive, cavernous acoustics of the Eventide Space (external).

Hope you like it!
Thanks for supporting my music!

Cheers,
Dani

"After my adventure with the MKS-80, I wanted to write something with my Spectralis. This is that track.

Further... I think this is where I may conclude my time with the Sequentix Cirklon 2... A lovely thing, but - I don't think it's for me. The Spectralis is too 'home' for me.

Ocean Swift Introduces Sound Creator Suite - tools for sound-design and instrument development

The Ultimate Sound Designer & Developer Toolkit: Sound Creator Suite Walkthrough | Ocean Swift video upload by Ocean Swift / Faxi Nadu

https://oceanswift.net/product/sound-creator-suite/

"Welcome to a complete walkthrough of the Ocean Swift - Sound Creator Suite. In this video, we take a high-level tour of the entire application, showing you not just what the tools do, but how they work in concert to provide a centralized host environment for virtual instrument developers, sample pack creators, and sound designers.

Whether you are automating hardware sampling, building custom UI components, or formatting vast preset libraries, this suite handles the heavy lifting so you can focus on the creative process.

What we cover in this walkthrough:
Global Settings & The Log Viewer: A look at the suite's foundation, including audio/MIDI routing, Kontakt developer integration , and the built-in, thread-safe Log Viewer capable of maintaining a 10,000-line history.
Audio Batch Processing & Sampling: How to recursively process thousands of audio files , mathematically align loops using MIR technology , and automate external hardware sampling via MIDI and threshold detection.
The Wavetable Ecosystem: A brief look at building wavetables from scratch with the Creator, extracting them from audio files, and converting formats across various software synthesizers.
MIDI & OSC Routing: Bridging the gap between your hardware, digital audio workstations, and modular environments like TouchDesigner.
UI Generation & NKS Workflow: From rendering 3D knobs into sprite sheets to batch-injecting metadata into Native Instruments NKS presets and standard audio samples."

Build Kontakt Instruments Faster: WYSIWYG UI Editor & Prefabs | Ocean Swift Sound Creator Suite

video upload by Ocean Swift / Faxi Nadu

"In this in-depth walkthrough, we dive into the Kontakt Performance View tool, a powerful standalone WYSIWYG editing environment within the Ocean Swift Sound Creator Suite. If you build instruments for Native Instruments Kontakt, this tool bridges the gap between technical JSON editing and intuitive visual design. We cover the entire workflow, from initial setup to complex UI layout, showing you how to design without writing a single line of layout code. What you will learn in this video:Integration & Setup: How to use the suite's settings to launch Kontakt as an isolated child process. Automated NKS Creation: Watch the tool automatically generate the strict NKS folder hierarchy and silently execute a Lua script to create your base .nki and .nkr container files. Live WYSIWYG Editing: Explore the hardware-accelerated preview canvas that provides a near 1:1 visual representation of your UI.Drag & Drop Design: See how to physically drag controls across the canvas , use grab handles for free-resizing , and utilize the alignment menu to perfectly center, top, or bottom-align multiple UI elements instantly.
Advanced Tree & Property Inspector: Learn how to manage the exact structural hierarchy of your UI. We show you how to use Alt+Click to instantly select a Panel and all nested child controls , and how to edit multiple parameters safely using the dynamic property inspector.
Instant UI Prefabs: Discover how to recursively scan your resources folder to drop complex, pre-configured .nckc UI elements directly into your project in seconds.

Grab it here: https://oceanswift.net/product/sound-..."
