Stylophone Gen X-2 & Lofi-12 XT Acid Jam - Men Only Want One Thing And It's Disgusting Acid
video upload by ChrisLody
"Full Disclosure: I occasionally take on freelance work at Sonicware and Stylophone on an hourly rate producing synth & sample sound design, beta testing, checking English text, video manuals, promo content etc. This video wasn't paid for directly but as a result of my work with Sonicware and Stylophone it is marked as Paid Promotion
Time for some more weekend acid it seems!
The good people over at Stylophone sent me the Gen X-2 so I can make some promotional work for them, but of course it needs a good test 😁so time for some acid😈
This jam uses the Korg SQ-1 as a sequencer to control it because the new Gen X-2 model has gate and CV inputs meaning I can create a sequence and get it to sync up with other gear where as the Gen X-1 was played by the stylus only. I'm also running the Gen X-2 through an unbranded Vintage Overdrive that my wife found as a freebie on Temu of all things. To my surprise it's actually pretty good and pairs nicely with the Gen X-2. I did have to use an inline isolator between the Gen X-2 and pedal though as it was generating a lot of digital noise otherwise.
The Lofi-12 XT is being used to add delay and reverb to the Gen X-2 and I'm using the new v1.5 feature of being able to sidechain external sources again because it's super useful for letting the kick cut through on things like this."

Cruising Historic US 101, California Coast (Carlsbad to Oceanside)
video upload by CatSynth TV
"We cruise along Historic US 101 in the southern California beach towns of Carlsbad and Oceanside. Also known as Coast Highway (and Carlsbad Blvd within the eponymous city limits), this was part of the original US 101 in California that stretched from San Diego to the Oregon border. It was truncated to Los Angeles in 1964, and several of the former sections to the south have been signed as "Historic US 101". This segment is also signed as San Diego county route S21.

Dystopian Space Ambient (GR1-Kalimba)
video upload by Christian's Sonic Spaces
"This is a dystopian space ambient, featuring a GR-1 granular synthesizer from Tasty Chips Electronics for soundscapes, generated from my own sound samples. In addition a Kalimba running through a DigiTech Genesis 3 were used for the solo plays, a Stylophone Theremine were used for the radio-like background tweet, the Dimmed Light Devices Radio Module for another radio-noise and the Spitfire Audio LABS for the deep bass
I used for the recording the following effects devices: DigiTech Genesis 3, Gamechanger Audio Motor Pedal, Boss Slicer SL2, Hologram Microcosm, Pigtronix Echolution² Deluxe and a GFI System Specular Reverb². Depending on the recorded track some FX are deactivated.
The signal went through a Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2 into the PC via USB for recording. To create the complete song I recorded consecutively several stereo tracks. The final song was then mastered with a bit EQ and compression on some tracks and some limiting on the master track using iZotope Ozone. The picture in the video I created with Midjourney."

Stylophone CPM DS-2 vs Moog Labyrinth. Live Modular Jam
video upload by Anton Anru
"In this video, I decided to combine two experimental synths: the Stylophone CPM DS-2 and the Moog Labyrinth. Since both are semi-modular, I wanted to try cross-patching.
For example, the Labyrinth modulates the pitch and cutoff of the CPM DS-2. The Moog Labyrinth produces a rhythmic pattern, while the Stylophone CPM DS-2 adds a drone and a melodic sequence.

SWEET DREAMS are made of BEATS (Eurythmics) | Drum Patterns Explained
video upload by Captain Pikant
"► / captainpikant Support us on Patreon and get access to lots of drum patterns, cheat sheets and more!
Sweet Dreams is a brilliant example of how a deceptively simple drum beat (if done right) can make a song hit even harder. We're going to recreate it on a modern sequencer so you can follow along and use those techniques in your own beats. Milk bottles and cows on fake grass included. As a bonus The Intern will pick apart the iconic synth riff :)"

Stylophone Gen X-2 - Full Demo, CV Control, Integration with Eurorack, and more!
video upload by Oscillator Sink
"The Dubreq Stylophone Gen X-2 is here! I was always a big fan of the original Gen X-1 and the good news is that Dubreq have kept all the good stuff and added some "quality of life" upgrades as well as useful new CV features that help it integrate with other instruments.
This video is a full demo and exploration of the new features, with a focus on looking at those new CV features, integrating it with Eurorack and other instruments
Transparency Notice: Dubreq kindly provided the Stylophone to me for the purposes of making videos about it. I did not otherwise get paid, but I do get to keep the Stylophone for myself.

Play Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush on Stylophone
video upload by Stylophone
"ON THIS DAY: KATE BUSH ‘RUNNING UP THAT HILL (A DEAL WITH GOD)’
Released on this day, 40 years ago on August 5th 1985, Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) was more than a lead single - it was a seismic moment in art-pop history.
The track opened her Hounds of Love album, blending analog synths with raw emotion and poetic intensity. It’s now hailed as a masterpiece of experimental pop and has found a new generation of fans thanks to Stranger Things.
Critics praised Bush’s boundary-pushing production and storytelling, with Hounds of Love now considered one of the greatest albums of the 1980s.

Luke Million Studio Tour Update July 2025
video upload by Luke Million
"Following the Studio Tour Video I made last November, here is an update with recent acquisitions and changes to my workflow in my Studio.
Some highlights are the Moog Messenger, Arturia DrumBrute Impact 1984 Edition, Synido TempoPAD C16, Aly James Lab Vprom 3.0, Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro, Modartt Pianoteq 8 and some Franklin Audio Devices.
The biggest change is in my 2nd Studio where the B Team is kept. I have connected those synths to a Franklin Audio SS-6 Switchable Input Stereo DI which then sends audio to my Universal Audio Volt 476 interface connected to a Macbook Pro Laptop.
You can view the original Studio Tour Video here -"

Duskash
video upload by Uncertain Music Corps
"A widescreen drone created with the excellent Graintopia script on the Norns with major controls mapped to the Roto-Control from Melbourne Instruments.. Bass reinforcement from the CPM DS2.
Graintopia operates in an area somewhere between tape music and granular synthesis with a dash of chance thrown in for good measure. Which suits me just fine.
Norns shield output is a little noisier than I would like but let's call that character.
There are no external effects in play on this take."
