"This synth is pretty rare, sounds great and contains Oberheim technology. It uses the same chip set found in early Oberheim synths like the OB-Xa. The Oberheim logo is printed on the voicecards inside the synth. It also sounds like a 'real Oberheim'. If you like using modular gear, and like the sound of classic vintage synths like OB-1, OB-Xa, OB-8 etc, you won´t be dissapointed.

2 x VCO
Coarse & fine Tune, range from ultra-low to ultra-high-(non-audible)frequency
PW & PWM knobs
Output: Saw, Triangle, Pulse
Input: CV, FM, SYNC, PWM
- Curtis CEM 3340, from Oberheim OB-Xa

1 x MOOG VCF
Cutoff, Emphasis, CV, Contour knobs
Output: Signal
Input: Signal, CV, Modulation, Envelope
- Great sounding 24db MOOG Clone, self-oscillating

1 x OBERHEIM VCF
Cutoff, Resonance, CV, Env. knobs
Output: Signal
Input: CV, Res. CV, Modulation, Envelope
- I´m not a fan of this filter, it doesn`t fully cutoff the signal, doesn´t quite reach self-oscillation. Does have voltage controlled resonance, though.

2x LFO
Frequency & level knobs
Output: Saw, Triangle, Square

2 x ADSR
- very fast, snappy attack, great for percussive sounds

2 x VCA
- Curtis CEM 3310, from OB-Xa

1 x RINGMODULATOR
Level knob
X & Y Inputs, Signal output

1 X SPEECH-MOD
Frequency & Intensity knobs
Range, Chop-on, Mod-on, triangle/sine and FM-Source Switches
2 Signal In, 1 Output
- great for extreme, weird, screaming, metallic sounds

2 X MIXER (3 in 1)

1 x BINARY DIVIDER
= Sub-oscillator, 4-way switch

1 x NOISE (white noise only)

4 x MULTIPLE/INTERFACE
- two of these are hardwired to the CV and GATE-channel of the MIDI Interface
- the other two allow interfacing with standard 6,3mm cables.

1 X SLEW LIMITER
= Glide

1 X MIDI INTERFACE
= Doepfer A-191, modified with banana-jack output for CV 2. CV1 and Gate are internally hardwired to multiples 1 and 2.

Things that don´t work as they should:
1. the level knob on LFO 2 only levels the triangle output
2. the Y-input of the ringmodulator doesn´t work. Not a big problem since I will include a spare RINGMODULATOR Module. Identical to the one installed in the System. It used to sit where the MIDI-Interface is now. It comes untested, and you have to install it yourself

optical condition: a few scratches are visible, on sides and top.

One more thing, not a problem but something you should know:
both oscillators offer SYNC. When syncing VCO 2 to VCO 1 you get the "classic" hardsync sounds you might remember from synths like Prophet 5, Jupiter 8, OB-8 etc. When syncing VCO 1 to VCO 2 you get a different sound - more like cross-modulation. So both inputs are labeled "sync", but seem to offer different kinds of sync - maybe one offers hard-sync, the other soft-sync.

This System uses the 1/Volt Octave standard, so interfacing with most other modular gear is no problem. However this system uses banana jacks. Cables are included (as seen in the pictures). Connection with 6,3 mm standard cables is possible when using one of the four interface/multiple modules..."
