"A little trumpeted feature of ios7 on the iPhone is the ability to use a camera connection kit which facilitates audio and midi interfaces to be connected over USB. Fantastic news for micro studios on the go!"

Update: via Moogulator of seqeuncer.de in the comments: "uhm, no - i tried anything adaptor 30pin/lightning, the new CamKit for Lightning on iPhone 5 - they all don't work - I Phone says 'is not supported' or just nothing.. so.. don't know what they do to get it to work in ios7 alone.."
It looks like it depends on the device. If anyone else has tried, feel free to share your experience.
Update via @pldDavid: "worked on my MC603C/A (GSM) iPhone4 using the cam kit and a generic usb MIDI cable."

Hmm! I've heard reports of it working on iPhones as old as 4S. My understanding is that any device that is allowed to install iOS 7 should now be usable. What are you trying to plug in?
