"The OP-8 is a interface designed to allow the MC-4 MicroComposer to automatically control polyphonic synthesizers such as the Jupiter-8 and Juno-60 which have the built-in DCB (Digital Communication Bus).

The Jupiter-8 and Juno-60 can be used to playback compositions from the MC-4 and the synthesizers program memory can then be used to add a wide variety of sounds to the composition.

The unit can be set to send out multitimbrally or polyphonically. Also great for creating semi-random drum patterns.

It can provide cv control of vcf and vca on a Jupiter 8 with the right connections. It has multiples, creating numerous creative possibilities."
