"Gijs Gieskes built that crazy analog hard disk synth. which is based on a hard disk drive. a contact mic is used to amplify the sound, which is created with those mechanical movements, you can watch, and the sound is run through a boss OD 20 distortion unit, am ambience reverb (tc electronic M300 and echo park delay."
