ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought as well.
ReplyDeleteWhen it came out, Hans Wurman's "The Moog Strikes Bach" was my third-favorite Moogey album after Carlos' SOB and "MOOG: The Electric Eclectics of Dick Hyman." It has a killer arrangement of Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca as well as other arrangements that really show off the Moog sound (as well as some nice Clavinet). My favorite was "variations on a theme by Paganini", which uses a "Lucky Man"-like lead sound years before ELP hit the scene.
