Mini is up for Sale

Title link takes you to shots and content pulled from this auction.

"This is a unique Mini with some history behind it. It's serial number 1159, which would indicate it to be the 159th Mini ever made. This is even before Keith Emerson or Rick Wakeman owned one!"

"The unit was originally sold in mid 1971 to Carroll Musical Instruments, NY as a direct order for the Broadway production of Jesus Christ Superstar. This is the original JC Superstar Minimoog."

  1. I'm sure he has a pile of synths. Not to mention all of the classic customer units he gets to play with after repairing them. He probably needs a new heater for his igloo.

    Wow, Kevin can really play.

  3. I'm "thinking" I'd like to afford my overpriced dentist. ;-)

Fwiw, I only own one other keyboard, a Roland D-50. I don't need to own them. There's tons here and I'm not a player.
If I was, I would've landed on the right note in video 1. ;-)
    Thanks tho.

  4. Well you sure play like a playa! I saved those videos, great demonstrations of how a mini ought to be played.
