    I LOVE Look Around You. This is from Season 1, which was modeled after science films. Season 2 is more like a science variety show, and is the source of "Synthesizer Patel"

    I hope against hope that they'll make a season 3 somehow.

    Also, the analogue-rific music is done by the two writers, Robert Popper and Peter Serafinowicz (who oddly also did the voiceover for Darth Maul - how's THAT for a strange credit?)

    I wonder if they based this on the Hazeltine 1200?

    The Hazeltine 1200 is the computer that controlled the prototype of the Synclavier One. I saw one hooked up to Synclavier (serial #4) at university. It was unworking in the early 1990's
