Microcontrolers and the Milton 2 Model 21 Prototype

Peter Grenader of EAR and Buzzclick Music posted the following on AH.



"What you're looking at, while not yet complete, is operationally equivalent
to the Milton 1 engine board. Actually there are a few added features over
it's predecessor...with a ten of the componentry/cost and about a third of
the real estate (and this includes a host of parts which will not be
required on the final incarnation, such as the power supply, the 555
timer/trim pot we've slapped on here to facilitate an incoming clock and the
dummy voltage source - the large Alpha pot - for testing the VC direction).

You gotta love microprocessors!

Sorry for the quality of the photo, Regardless, I think it shows the 'big
picture' pretty clearly. Note that stage three is lit - although the light
blew out in this exposure."
