Bruce is an interesting guy. I wish he was more of a razz-a-ma-tazz salesman.
ReplyDeleteThe videos of folks making/selling these modulars seem more like people selling lab equipment. Hmmm...
Esp Eric Barbour from Metasonix. That guy cracks me up with his deadpan delivery. He cranks knobs on his Wretch, but the synth still sounds like a moo-cow. In that video the other day, he turns more knobs (not telling us what they are), and the cow still moos. He touches keys on the MIDI keyboard, and somehow, the moo sounds the same. Then he looks, deadpan at the camera, and says "there you have it". It's like he's playing some kind of ironic joke on the universe. Selling an emperor has no clothes synth.
I want one tho. To scare off burglars from my studio.
