  2. Pinkus. Not yet. I figure in a few years, terminals will be built into shower stalls, so when that happens I'm sure I will. But never on the sacred crown. That would be sacriledge.

I do want an Origami or UMPC though - that would be way more portable and "safe" outside and the like. When cities get free wi-fi like Google did with Monterey, I bet UMPC will start popping up like crazy. I also want one for midi and sequencing. And no I don't work for Microsoft, I just like portability. I gave up the desktop last year and switched to a small laptop. I like it, but I still want something even more portable. Pocket PCs are powerful enough, so a UMPC look just right.

  3. On the down side, I heard battery life on UMPCs are only 2.5hours, so no portable music player on long road trips. That kind of sucks unless I guess they come with one of those cigarette lighter power plugs.

beatpro - thanks for the thanks!

  4. these are actually two funny chaps
goofin' aroun in their home studio.
i enjoyed it a lot. :) Check out their "studio maintenance" video too. that's brith humor i guess.

thx for putting this up, matrix.
Nice example that shows the great variety of fun one can have creating electronic music.
-apart from having aural sex i mean.

i would like to see something like this on a different level though -with more focus on serious edutainement - e.g. portraying
classic vintage synths live -demonstrating their sounds and talking about the instrument's history. I love eg the "in the studio with .." reports of the Future Music uk magazine DVD. last month they had an video with coldcut. on the new one is an interview with Arthur Baker in the Mute studios. great stuff
