To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

That thing just sounds amazing.
ReplyDeleteSure, when you find one, let me know. ; ) I wonder how much it would go for. IMO it'd be priceless in that condition. But I guess there is supply and demand, so who knows. When you think about the costs of rare synths vs. the cost of rare guitars you really start to realize how good we have it.
ReplyDeleteI dont suppose we can start a petition to get Hammond to re-issue a few of these bad boys?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, it's really a shame that theyve taken the digital route as of late :( I guess their largest customer base, most likely schools and places of worship, dont really care what's inside as long as it's wooden and says Hammond on the outside.
I've been sitting here at work listening to these sound samples all morning. Holy Crap.
ReplyDeleteI want one almost bad enough to go through that cumbersome restoration process.

If Phil will sell his, how about we set up some kind of Novachord timeshare.
ReplyDeleteYou could definitely count me in.
