Buchla Electric Music Box

Nice shot of the Buchla Electric Music Box pulled from this VSE thread.

Also check out this shot.

Update via electricmusicbox.com in the comments:

"When I owned that case & a few of the modules in it, it was a half-working, chipped-laminate sad excuse for a system (though I made some great sounding music on it). After 5 years I tore out my favorite modules & sold it for 3 times what I paid for it. When it fell into the hands of "anonymous," it was transformed into a better-than-catalog version of itself. Long live the Buchla underground railroad."

  6. 2nd anonymous was the former owner..

I bought it from him thru a dealer and then restored it .. it was kinda beat and non functional when i got it.. i searched out and traded/bought the modules i wanted.. got it all working then had the cabinet restored.

    turned out nice.

  7. Yeah, too many anonymouses... I was the 2nd anonymous (the guy who owned it when it was in crappy shape); rick was the first anonymous (the guy who restored it over 4 years & took the pictures). Confused yet?
