Livewire would be cooler if the knobs were electrified and gave you subtle electro-shock feedback when you touched them.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Sometimes if you move your skin across the metallic surface you may feel a slight vibration, almost like the metal is textured.
ReplyDeleteI've been tempted in the past to get the DVM and see what the voltage/current in this situation is - enough to feel, but not enough to hurt.
You could always get this.

ReplyDeleteHey - that magnet in the fingertip thing is pretty cool. In addition to sensing EM fields, you could make a personalized keypad with Hall-effect sensors that only you (or someone else with a magnet) could activate.
ReplyDeleteIs there a simple 'how to' wherein it describes how to replace a pot with a modular VC control? like, input your pot's range, here are the values for your vactrol/whatever.
