I'm always amazed at people trying to sell Synthedit VSTs for, like, $40.
ReplyDeleteIf they're not Synthedit, then these people really need some help with GUI design. I mean, I like the concept and the quirky look, but (visually) the execution is really ugly.
And why choose to copy the look of an EML-101 for a phase-distortion synth??
ReplyDeleteThe vintage string emulation is one of the worst I ever heard. Compared only with the now discontinued Solina emulation from Dash Synthesis (which was horrible!) Absolutely no resemblance of the revered Solina or Crumar Performer here. I'm sorry to say but you should try harder. Take a look at AlgoMusic String Synth, or Big Tick Cheeze Machine to hear a really good string machine emulations. BTW, did I mention that they are FREE?
ReplyDeleteI just post em as I see em guys. BTW, if you have some links, post them here in the comments and I'll update the post or create a new one.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with this:

Make it look like a Casio synth instead so nobody buys it. :)
