    I've gone with biological synths. Just swallow a mic, or stick it up somewhere that is best not mentioned and eat some mexican. Diet coke for noise generation.

    Many possibilities.

    Star Trek's Tin Man episode sound design was actually done this way.

    I'm all for biodegradable synths.
